AviaAM Leasing, a Warsaw Stock Exchange listed aircraft leasing company, has announced entering the second phase of its contract with Aeroflot. Upon delivering 2 more Airbus A320s, the company has already completed orders for 3 airplanes and is planning the delivery of another 5 Airbus jetliners to the carrier by the end of this year. All aircraft under the contract are being acquired and leased by SkyCo International Financial Leasing.
On the 28th of September a brand-new Airbus A320-214SL (MSN 7836) produced at Airbus facilities in Toulouse, France was delivered to its first operator – Aeroflot. A day later, another brand new Airbus A320-214SL (MSN 7843) was delivered to the carrier in Hamburg, Germany. The aircraft joined the fleet of the leading Eurasian airline under an operating lease contract with SkyCo International Financial Leasing with the support of AviaAM Leasing which assisted in managing the entire transaction and supervising the hand-overs.
“In addition to the first aircraft already delivered earlier this month, these 2 successfully completed orders mark an important step towards fulfilling our first contract under the Skyco’s flag. We are delighted that as of today we have managed to meet and even exceed all the carrier’s expectations and I expect nothing but smooth sailing in terms of further cooperation with Aeroflot in the future,” comments Tomas Sidlauskas, the VP of Sales at AviaAM Leasing.
SkyCo International Financial Leasing was established in 2015 as a joint venture between Guangdong Airport Authority, Guangdong Aerocity Holding and other shareholders.
