FL Technics Training, a global provider of aviation technical training services, is delighted to announce further expansion of its EASA Part 147 certificate by supplementing it with a new Embraer ERJ-190 type training.
Following the successful certification process, FL Technics Training is now qualified to provide aviation specialists with Embraer ERJ-190 series (GE CF34) B1.1 and B2 (sub-) categories aircraft type theoretical training. The training covers general familiarization with the aircraft's systems and power plants, conducting system, component and functional checks, component replacement and troubleshooting as well as other subjects.
“Embraer ERJ-190 is a relatively young aircraft type with only 10 years in commercial operations. With approx. 500 units in service, the aircraft is particularly popular with Latin American and Asian Pacific regional aviation carriers. As the operated ERJ-190s are reaching the performance edge where they will naturally require more Heavy Maintenance works, we have noticed that both operators and certain MROs are more actively exploring the need for relevant in-house maintenance specialists,“ shares Kestutis Volungevicius, the Head of Engineering and Training at FL Technics. “In order to satisfy such demand we have decided to expand our EASA Part 147 approval with Embraer ERJ-190. What is particularly delighting is that we have already received strong interest towards the new capabilities from the clients thus proving that we are developing in the right direction. With this in mind, we plan to continue further expansion of our training and examination organization’s approval during the year.“
