KlasJet to fly BC Wolves for EuroCup Basketball Tournament

KlasJet, a well-known exclusive private and corporate jet charter company, and a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest ACMI provider, will provide VIP charter flight services for the BC Wolves Twinsbet, a Lithuanian professional basketball club based in Vilnius, for its participation in this year's EuroCup tournament. These flights are a part of an agreement that includes flights for the remainder of the 2024/2025 basketball season, utilizing aircraft specially equipped for the athlete's needs.

“We have victory in mind with every flight, which is why we will provide the players with luxury, privacy, and all the necessary amenities for comfort for travel so the Wolves will have success on the court,” said Lukas Petrauskas, Chief Commercial Officer at KlasJet. “We love the opportunity to support Vilnius’ basketball clubs and are happy to provide an aircraft that features seats with 97 cm of legroom and an additional 2.3 meters of cabin height, so that the aircraft is taller and more spacious for such passengers as basketball players, than most common commercial airliners.

For its part, KlasJet has previously offered charter flights to teams and athletes for a variety of sports, often reporting a 15% increase in demand during the UEFA qualifying season, for example. Petrauskas added that reliability and experience are the most important qualities for athletic charter flights.

“We have worked with numerous sports teams in the past, which gives us the experience to provide what athletes and coaches might need during their flights,” Petrauskas said. “We want to bolster the Wolves’ defense, so our crew and aircraft will be the point guards of safety and comfort ahead of the tournament.”

He added that wins on the court during a tournament could result in increased and potentially unexpected needs for flights. KlasJet would be ready to fly at a moment’s notice, depending on the outcomes of matches during the tournament.
