KlasJet’s ACMI Services Achieve Record Growth in 2024

KlasJet, a well-known exclusive private and corporate jet charter company and part of the world’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) providers, the Avia Solutions Group family, achieved substantial expansion last year. There was a huge increase in ACMI aviation business, with block hours and passenger numbers almost tripling.

Last year, compared to 2023, total number of passengers of KlasJet as ACMI leasing company, increased almost threefold, reaching 1.2 million. „This impressive result was caused by having more flights, improved preparation for all projects, and strategic expansion. The increased experience and professional team meant we could operate more smoothly and have fewer issues. We were not afraid of programs with extremely high aircraft utilization, sometimes even exceeding 450 block hours per aircraft per month, “says Augustinas Riskus, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer at KlasJet.

In 2024 KlasJet operated more than 20 000 block hours, with growth of three times compared to 2023. The reason behind these results, according to Augustinas Riskus, is a strengthened technical department, improved utilization, and refined planning processes. Last year, KlasJet operated 7680 flights, more than doubled compared to 2023, expanding main bases of operations to Belgrade, Dhaka, Munich, Prague, Bratislava, Porto, and Kinshasa.

KlasJet introduced ACMI services in 2022, with a mission to deliver cost-effective air capacity solutions that mirror service excellence. The company started with 2 aircraft, and later on expanded the ACMI fleet to 7 aircraft. In 2023, KlasJet collaborated with 3 operators, but last year, a client-focused attitude brought a broader range of clientele: Air Serbia, US-Bangla, Marabu, Smartwings, EL AL, and Congo Airways.

„We deliver a modern and sustainable approach to capacity challenges through our new fleet of Boeing 737-800s NGs. Last year, we had highly effective cooperation with EL AL. Even during the troublesome times, we managed to continue our operations – we are very thankful to our crews and the entire team for that, “noted Riskus.

“We have proved to be a reliable partner. We offer client-focused solutions, in case of any problems, we try to put ourselves in our client’s shoes. This helps us maintain good relationships and find the best strategies, which result in operational excellence. We would like to expand further, as we see the potential in our team and ACMI leasing. Today, the only limiting factor is the lack of available aircraft on the market. Aircraft manufacturers delivered a remarkable 30% fewer aircraft than planned in 2024, and it seems this significant shortfall may continue this year,” says Augustinas.

KlasJet operates a fleet of 14 aircraft, offering capacities ranging from 10 to 68 seats for VIP services and 186 to 189 passengers for ACMI leasing. KlasJet is part of the Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider, operating a fleet of 221 aircraft. The group also provides various aviation services, including MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), pilot and crew training, ground handling, and various associated services.
