FL Technics, a global provider of one-stop-shop aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, continues increasing its presence in the components support market. The European MRO has recently signed a brand new brake and wheel maintenance contract with Small Planet Airlines, a leisure carrier with an all-Airbus fleet of 18 aircraft.
According to the freshly inked 3-year contract, FL Technics shall support the carrier’s Airbus A320 fleet under the charge-per-aircraft-landing programme. The agreement covers component supply, repair and overhaul in Small Planet Airlines’ bases across the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Cambodia, Poland and Lithuania as well as in all of its future locations. The latest partnership is an extension of the previous cooperation between the parties in the field of component supply and maintenance management. The companies initially started working on joint projects back in 2013.
“This deal is a very important milestone in our business relationship with this carrier. Small Planet Airlines is one of the fastest growing holiday airlines in the market. That is why we are confident that our hard work will eventually lead to even more mutually beneficial deals in the near future,” comments Aldas Juronis, Head of FL Technics Components and Materials Sales Department. “What’s even more important is that such deals are the best recommendations for our existing and potential clients looking forward to shifting towards total component support programmes.”
FL Technics provides its clients with comprehensive component maintenance services using its own 30 000 sq. m. fully equipped hangars and workshops in Vilnius, Kaunas and Jakarta as well as its extensive partner network across the UK, Germany, Vietnam and other countries around the globe.
